Awaken the artist within you!
By Palmer Davis
If you've ever wondered if you could draw, the answer is "Yes, you can!" Thanks to this remarkable, one-of-a-kind book. The author, Marilyn Rabetz, reminds us all that artists are not born, they're made. All it takes is a sharpened pencil, a pad of paper, an open mind and heart, and Marilyn's inspiring encouragement to lead you every step of the way. She brings her extraordinary talent, expertise and a lifetime of experience as a fine art professional and much beloved teacher, all together in this ultimate "how to" manual for artists. As a former student of Marilyn's myself, I was delighted to discover that her insightful, no-nonsense, highly motivating approach to teaching drawing is now accessible for anyone to enjoy through this comprehensive book. You can trust me when I tell you without reservation that "Object Lessons" will not only teach you how to draw, but, perhaps, even more importantly, it will teach you how to see.

This book is amazing!
By Samantha Healy
This book posits that anyone can draw, and while many people choose to disagree with that statement, Mrs. Rabetz really proves it to be true. If you follow the lessons laid out in this book, you will begin to see the world as an artist and be able to put it down in paper as you see it. What an amazing gift she has given to the readers of this book. Her years of experience teaching all levels of students, has coalesced into a method that gives anyone the opportunity to be an artist. Thank you so much for this gift. I highly recommend you read this book and follow its lessons. This would be a great gift for any aspiring artist.

New Art Student
By Michele L
I recently started drawing with colored pencils. I have no experience or education related to drawing or anything artistic. I bought this book two weeks ago and absolutley love it. I can tell the author is a teacher because her explanations and guidance is very clear and precise. She breaks it down to an easy to understand method of drawing objects with correct proportions and placement on a page. Her techniques are very smart. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn to draw. All I need now is practice.
